This my most recent start (Feb 21st):
Rather than stitching them on the plastic to become ornaments, I’m stitching them on a single piece of yellow (not yellow snow) fabric which will be turned into a pillow when done. The fabric is 28 count African Daisy jobelan. Here is Rudolph. I think he’s super cute.

He is! So will this be a Christmas cushion that is going to decorate the house at the appropriate time each year?

Yep. It will go nicely, I think, with the snowmen one I did a few years ago.

Rudolph is so cute!
I like your idea of doing the ornament designs together on a pillow.

I just finished Santa Claus. The chart calls for single strand backstitching but it just doesn’t show up well so I’m using two strands for all of it. I’ll run out of some floss in the kit but I have a Dimensions to DMC conversion so it’s not a big deal. (If I was doing the kit as designed, using the plastic canvas and cutting out each ornament, the backstitching would be okay, but on fabric as a “collage” it just doesn’t work.)

I do, too. I think it fits the vibe of the older (60 years ago) stop motion animation, giving it a cartoon-y feel.

Santa looks really good with the heavier outline. Agree that a single thread would have been lost.
