Zodiac

Post by Rose »

I am thinking that maybe a zodiac sign would be a good go on the star material but all of the ones I have found have been rather plain and not really good for what I was thinking. I want a nice picture of the sign but not to much design around the edges. . I know I am being picky but for this material it really needs to be just right. So the more you can find for me to choose from the better chance I will have of finding just what I am thinking of.

To all that look for me thank you :beg: your help is truelly appreciated.

She is a Libra. Or the Scales. But that does not really matter I am just looking for sites that have zodiac patterns.

Here is one collection

It's Sew and So, but I am sure you can find it on an American site if that's cheaper for you to order.
They also have a blue series.

A nice chart booklet here if you ignore the outer design.

Some various designs here

More freebies though again they may be quite "plain".

And these could look nice stitched with perhaps a darker thread on the lighter fabric?

Hope that's enough to keep you thinking  :D

Probably to late for this post now, but I have just bought 2 charts from this site:
http://www.choicesembroidery.co.uk" target="_blank.
Charts are Amathusia birthday girls, they are really stunning when done (saw them at a craft fair) if you like the art deco style these are for you. Hope this helps, or for anybody else looking for something a bit different.

That is a great site some really interesting designs. What surprised me was the gem they chose for July I have never found anything except Ruby used as the gem stone for July.

Yeah, I was surprised at some off them also, I know im turquoise (december). It is a small stone, but will be effective once its sewn in along with the beads. My friends one (february) is an amethyst. I will be sewing that one first after my Enchanted Mermaid, or if i get bored (im known for it) might start it earlier.
