Does anyone know where I can get a John Wayne chart. My mum and I both like him a lot and while watching one of his movies today my mum decided she would like to immortalise him in cross stitch.
I thought I had seen him in one of the magazines that do celebrity charts but I don't seem to have it.
Thank you
Nettie (& Nettie's mum)

Try looking at
http://www.artecy.com" target="_blank" target="_blank. Tereena has some really awesome charts and quite a few of actors and actresses.

That seller has some really nice patterns

, but I'm just wondering does she need copyright permission to use all those images and convert them to cross stitch form to sell?

Hmm,

You could be right Jess, I never really thought about it to be honest.
If the image is freely available on the internet I don't see a problem with making it into a chart to stitch, but that would be for personal use ... probably selling them would need permission.

That is a very good question. I would maybe ask that question before buying.

Thank you all I have saved some images to my laptop that I can convert into patterns for her. I didn't have much success looking for them elsewhere. If she chooses one to do I'll try and get an SAL started on her behalf so you can see which one she chose.
She would join us but doesn't have a computer.

Aww, that's a shame Nettie, it would have been lovely to have her join us as well.
I'm looking forward to seeig her SAL of 'Big John' though!
