hello, I am interested in purchasing Berlin work patterns, and or trading for them.If anyone has any to get rid of, please let me know. I love the rose patterns the best. They are so charming.
I am very interested in obtaining the German book "Rosenheimer Rosenbuch: Stickmuster aus dem Biedermeier", by Barbara Muller,1990. ISBN: 3475525372. I have looked for it everywhere with no success; probably because it is from Germany. The charts are all roses. Well, please let me know of the book or any patterns. thank you so very much. Contessa

I haven't got any to swap, but I found a German second-hand book site which sells the book you mention -- you can see it
here. Not cheap, but another site showed
pictures of it and you're sight, they're lovely!

hi mabel, thanks for your help. I went to the Mad Sampler Book Company before, but she is sold out. I wouldn't know how to purchase a book in german.I don't understand their words or their money, although I have a German Heiritage. so, it looks like I am out of luck for now. Maybe one day someone will see my post and surprise me. thanks again.

Contessa, did you see the email address at the bottom of the pictures url that Mabel posted? It might be that you could use that to get some of the designs from the book. Who knows, perhaps the person behind the email address has more Berlin work designs on offer?

Hello Contessa, perhaps I can help a little. The book is €31, which is about £28 or $23.50 (I could find out other currencies for you). Postage is €1.10 within Germany, €3 anywhere else. They accept money by bank transfer -- what usually happens is that they give you two numbers, the IBAN and the BIC or SWIFT numbers, and you ask your bank to transfer the money in Euros to their account. Your bank will then charge you in your own currency, based on the exchange rate of the day.
If you want to order the book, you click on the button marked "in den Warenkorb". I hope this helps, and if you need anything else translated please let me know and I'll try to help.
