If anyone perchance subscribes to CrossStitch Collection magazine, and is willing to part with the chart for Joan Elliott's Spring Fairy (issue 167), I would pay for shipping and trade for nearly anything....I think she is SO beautiful!

And because I become quite obsessed with series and matching things, I would probably be just as happy to make similar offers for the 3 other seasons too - I believe the Summer Fairy is supposed to arrive in issue 170.

I know people have seen this, but just a quick bump in case anyone missed it (because I don't have enough projects stacking up apparently...)

Is there anyone who is UK-based that would be willing to purchase the magazine and send it to me?? I will absolutely pay for the whole thing (mag, postage, & time/travel ), or send you equivalent value trade as you prefer!

I believe the Spring Fairy (issue 167) was in the Feb issue of Cross Stitch Collection, which may be completely unavailable now, but the Summer Fairy (issue 170) appears to be in the May issue, which I would imagine is still available. Preferably, I'd like to obtain both, but obviously understand the restrictions of time and OOP.

Any kind soul able to help a desperate American out?

This was actually why I called JE this morning - to find out if she would be publishing the charts. The contract she has w the magazine is that she has to wait 6 mos after mag issue to publish, but then she can and will publish each chart! So spring should be available by the end of June, etc. She said she charges $12/chart....I figured since the mag will probably come out to about that much anyway, why not get all the other stuff included in the mag if I'm going to pay that much $$, but if need be, I'll wait till she publishes.

I am happy to try to get issue 170 for you but I won't be able to get to town until next week sometime

Oohhhh minij if you could get it you'd be my hero!! But please don't go to any trouble, I don't want to be an inconvenience....as I said, I can just always wait for the pattern(s) to be published...probably healthy for me to learn some patience
