This is the cake me and my boyfriends 8 year old daugther made to day. Well really she made and i supervised. It's a vanilla sponge, a bit like a madaline, with lemon icing. I gave her free reign with my piping bag and i was really impressed

She did a good job on that cake. Wonder if cakes are going to be her career....

She is very creative. Does loads of art and drawing and her spelling is advance. She also likes to write her own stories. (Can you tell i'm proud?) We had a lovely day. Only down side was that i couldn't eat the cake coz i am on a diet Lost another half apound tho so can't complain

I was going to say that it's so decorative it would be a shame to eat it .... but I'm sure I could be persuaded eventually
