Stitchers Count Down to Christmas/New Years

I know a lot of us have projects on the go that we're rushing to finish in time for Christmas or New Year's...and I'm thinking I'm not the only person who is way behind schedule!

So I thought I start a support group thread for all those of us who are stitching frantically away for the next few weeks. What are you working on, how much do you have left, and what do you think the odds are that you'll finish in time? Any thoughts on what you want to start in the New Year, after your current project is finished? Feel free to post pics here or in your main SAL thread, so long as we get updates!
I'm frantically trying to finish the dreaded table cloth for mom for Christmas...and so far, I don't think I'm even half way done.

Yikes! Fortunately I have a good chunk of stitching time planned for this afternoon, and I'm hoping I'll be more than half way by the end of it. I'd love to have the center circle finished, as there is a lot less fabric in the way for the designs on the edge of the table cloth, so it will be easier stitching.

I've got Bobs Emo Donkey Pillow due for this month. I've almost finished Emo himself, but I still have all the background and backstitch to do, not to mention the lettering and actually turning it into a pillow!

AArgh! don't remind me. My deadline is the 18th so I have 11 days. 11 days!!
Only the backstitching to go though...

Well for the cards it's not really a deadline -- I'll be stitching until the 13th or 14th, and whatever I manage by then I'll send, everyone else gets non-handmade cards

. But I do have to finish the teatray cloth for MIL sometime before the last Christmas post for Devon!

I am desperately trying to finish the Thomas Kinkade picture for my MIL. We'll see how it goes. You would think I'd have it done by now since I started it in March.

Guess I started too many other projects.

ARGGHH! I started a small hardanger piece (using that 20ct opalescent lugana, Mabel, btw). I'm at the cutting stage, so it's almost done, but because it was supposed to be on 22ct, not 20ct) it's every so slightly bigger. I'm hoping it will fit into one of the fancy Zweigart Quick Frames... just!

But I have to buy it first, and then send it to the US. WHY do I get these notions?
And then there are two little biscornu ornaments to finish. I'm going into Glasgow on Wednesday (if I don't return by Thurs, send a search party please!) and need to find some red and green 'pearl' buttons for them.

(Not to mention all the other presents on my list, ) Good thing I like Christmas.

This is a good idea to encourage people with their deadlines. This year, I'm not rushing to get something done myself, but I'm happy to offer

and

to those needing it.
Those of you who were here a year ago might remember me frantically trying to finish my 12 Days of Christmas sampler before Christmas because I knew I was getting Bubble from OH for a gift and I wouldn't let myself start it until the sampler was done. Luckily I finished it on Christmas Eve!

So far I've completed all the cards I plan on sending...that was good..
My biggest project is stitching names onto stockings at work... Ever since I started the job 8 years ago I would stitch the names onto the stockings.. but last year I used waste fabric on our stockings at home and loved the look of it..so I wanted to change out the names at the hotel.. I kind of wish I hadn't started last year after Christmas, because if I hadn't I wouldn't have to even think of doing stockings this year!

There were no employees to make stockings for this year... gah! Well I do have to make new ones, because my boss wants me to add stockings for the children this year (my two plus another clerk's one)..and then go fill them with a few things for our party on the 16th.. I think I can get them all done (12) by then... here's hoping!

I have a biscornu to finish and send to Stockport, and my dad's coasters to finish. I've done the first half of the biscornu and the major part of the second, just got a bit of backstitch to finish before putting it together, for my dad's coasters I've done 2 from a set of 4. I'm less worried about those because if I can tell him here are two, the other two are on their way soon, he understands the amount of time and love that's going into them!

I'm not really rushing to get anything done as far as christmas presents but I had set myself a deadline of getting the first row of pages done on Wrath and when I started figuring it out last night..I have to do around 360 stitches a day which is a lot!! It's mostly all black though so I think it's doable..maybe! I almost done with page 5 and then page 6 and 7 are nearly all black!
Anyways, I wanted to get that first row done so then on the 1st I could start doing the UFO week and I know that if I am not done with Wrath that I probably won't do the UFO in January and that just wouldn't be the way to start off the new year, right?

I have a bit less the 1/4 of a picture to finish and then put together for a friends present. Then I want to get 2 potholders done for my daughter. That will finish off this years presents.
For the new year:
I have to finish the angel I am half way done with. I want to get the Feng shua (sp) pictures done for daughter and the patterns back to Mabel. I want to start working on the picture for my hubby during the UFO week starting in January but not sure that is going to happen.
I want to get at least 2 maybe 3 angels done this year.

I've finished my mom's Christmas present and two cards. I'm in the middle of my niece's present and I'm beginning to worry it won't be done in time. I took this to be a "pretty easy" chart when I first saw it but now that I'm into it I realize there's a lot of fractional stitches and some weird backstitching:

I have a few more cards I'd like to do too.

Well I've stitched my sister's and aunts presents (still have to get them framed), and am now working on 5 stars. I've stitched the front and back of the first, and am almost through the backstitch on the second. That leaves me with 3 fronts and 4 backs (the backs are quite quick to do) as well as all the beading and assembling before Christmas - I think that I will need some

Well I'm not going to be getting my 12 days of Christmas done for Christmas (I should have started in June if I was wanting to do that). I do want to get day three finished and on the tree though if possible. I've still got to make up day 2 into the ornament and I'm currently working on the border on day 3 - that's the easy bit though, it's the picture in the middle that takes the time. Still, I think I might just do it, especially since I get holiday from after 18th december

Don't all

me but I've finished the only 'deadline' Christmas stitching I had - a little kit of an owl that slots into the front of a credit card holder for my uncle - safely posted off now although OH forgot to get a photo of it

I'm 300 stitches away from finishing page 5 of wrath. I wanted to have it done by friday so I could delve into the 7000 stitches of black over the weekend. So far right on schedule!

Hello
I didn't know what to get my granny for Christmas so I have (literally) just started a bookmark for her. I've done about 1/10th of it I think... I hope I have enough time! Bookmarks should be quite quick, shouldn't they??
Of course, thats just one present. I have no idea what to get the rest of my family yet - my sister wants a digital camera

she's not going to get it from this poor student though!
