New to site

My name is Deanna and I've taken up cross stitch again after about 20 years....I've been doing alot of crocheting and sewing and beading....plus taking care of my 4 kids, who are now grown with families of their own. I have,as I said, 4 kids,3 boys and 1 girl. My boys are close by but my daughter married an Airman and is currently in Japan. They will be home in March for a short visit on their way to Germany...Not looking forward to this...But I have 9 grandkids and I'm always finding little things to do for them...I did a birth annoucment for my daughters little boy and currently have 3 other projects in mind....I'm looking forward to sharing and receiving ideas on this site.

Hello, I'm new this morning too. I live in the West Midlands, in the UK. I've been stitching for around 16 years - mostly small stuff with maybe one big project a year. I'm working on getting myself a full set of DMC threads - only 30 or so left, but I keep using them up!
