I figured I'd put all my SAL's in one thread ... not that I am doing much cross stitch at the mo ... but anyhoo : they'll be easy to find
I decided to make a bookmark for my best friends' sister, who makes fabulous cakes.
So here it is! :
Not exactly a SAL this time, but I'm hoping there will be some more stitching happening soon!

The cake chart is from the free gift in the current cross stitch crazy - "16 Beautiful Borders"

Oh I really like that. My two favourite hobbies in one. Cross stitch and reading

and of course cakes are just as nice!

Here is the mini project I am working on at the moment.
It is from Cross Stitcher issue April 2007, but I only have the chart and not a pic of the completed thing so what it looks like will have to be a surprise
This isn't actually the design i wanted to do, but I cut the fabric the wrong size for what I wanted (due to stupid cock-arsed instructions

) so found out a design that would fit the fabric! (otherwise it would never have got used-i know what i'm like

)
Anyways, it's not too big a design so you should see the finished article pretty soonish ... hopefully!

problem is I dont know what to do with it now as I usually start a project with a recipient in mind (I don't tend to stitch for myself as I lose motivation)
