That's just wonderful! I like the design a lot! I've never done a Dimensions Gold before and I've been stitching for 28 years. They just look intimidating because of all the detail. You're doing a great job! :applesauce:

Scott, you are doing a really great job and its coming together nicely. You sure are brave starting out with a Dimensions gold - it has only been in recent years I've tackled them and I've been stitching for many years.

Keep going and you will have it ready for this coming Christmas

Very well done.

Wow you don't believe in making life easy for yourself do you? I have stitched a few Dimension Gold designs and I know how tricky they can be with colour blending etc. This is an amazing start to your first project, very well stitched and a beautiful design. I look forward to seeing this grow. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

If this is your first project then you are doing excellent stitching - and it is a lovely design too.

Thanks for everyones comments. This is my first piece and from what most people have said is it a bad decision. I am just about to say something very stupid but arent they all the same just bigger and more colours, isnt it just following the chart properly?

Wow! talk about throwing yourself in at the deep end! You obviously like a challenge.

You are right in a way, however, it is unusual for beginners to go for such large, detailed designs because things like frequent colour changes, fractional stitches, blending filaments, use of metallics etc can seem quite daunting at first as some techiques take longer to master than others. But I'm impressed with your stitching so far. Looking forward to seeing this progress. :applesauce:
