Hi there :D

I have at the moment about 4 projects on the go. I find that it is a variety and stops me getting bored. Not that i get bored with xstitch it is the only thing that keeps me sane.

How many have you got :?:

It might encourage me to start some more that i would love to get starting on but a bit of guilt sets in after about 3.

Happy Stitching

:D Wendy like you I always have a couple of projects on the go at the same time. Usually a big one and a couple of small ones. However just now just go two on the go, a dragonfly, which is the third in a series of three and a stamp crossed stitch small table cloth. Might have a look out another one over the weekend, will see what mood I am in.

I have 3 main projects on the go. Maggie the Messmaker, Stately
Palm (both Dimensions kits) and a Victorian Elephant sampler which is a discontinued pattern from the V&A museum. I'm quickly doing a mothersday card and have also sent for 'Blessed Santa' which is a dimensions gold petit kit. I've done 2 other santas from this series and made them up into cards for my parents. My mum has a collection of china santas from around the world so the pictures compliment then nicely.Rather than buy blank cards I make my own using the publisher programme on my pc to make the cards a bit more special.

I only do one at once. If i do a small one while i am working on a big one i will completely finish the small one before going back to the big one. I don't seem to be like the rest of you with loads of projects at the same time. I think if i tried to do more at once they'd never get finished. I do have one unfinished project lying around, but that's simply because it made my hands come out in a kind of rash last time i did it so i'm scared to try it again.

UFOs! I have an embarrassing number of these, some large (in truth, very large) and some smaller items, like bookmarks. However, I'm very nearly finished with a Christmas bellpull (nice for next year  ) and I am trying to finish a big tapestry before I start anything new.

But it's so nice to start projects! All that optimism when you haven't had to unpick.

Usually I'm working only on one project. But this time, I have two: GK apples and RR. I think GK would take me about 8 months to stitch it all, and RR will be over in the middle of May, so then I'll have one project again

I try to have 1 wip only, or sometimes one big and something so small and quick like a pincushion or something
