This is my second HAED on the go. I got it because it immediately reminded me of my nephew. And hopefully it will be a gift for him before he graduates from college (he's 2 now). I'm doing it on 25ct Aida in a potatoey color, 2 over 1, tent stitches. This is my first time doing tent stitches. I'm hoping it makes things go much faster while still going good coverage. This is the next pattern in my rotation so I will start back up on it tonight or tomorrow. I started in the top left corner.
Here is what it should look like:
Here is my progress so far:

Very nice! You are off to a good start!
I envy you and the others that grid off the fabric before stitching. I wouldn't have the patience to do that. XD

Great start on this! You should find the coverage to be just right (while still being big enough to see the stitches!), it's what I use all the time now.
I do like to see other people's gridding too, I've tried it both with thread and a pen but I just don't seem to get along with it

The artist is John Patience.
when I gridded for the first time I did the whole piece (Twilight Balloons) but those lines have started to fade so I'll have to redo them when I get to those sections. Since then I've decided to only grid the page that I'm working on (plus a line or two each direction). That way the lines don't fade while I stitch and it's not so time consuming to grid. Since I've already counted out my lines when I grid the next page it goes so much faster.
