I've had the kit for months and decide to start my Gold Collection Aurora Cabin.
I know I never really posy much. But I really want to keep doing this one. I really want to push it and get it finished for April next year. Doubtful, but I'm praying!
Plus with help from the wonderful Ceitidh

who is giving me some help, because she has doing the same one, I hopeing it will turn out almost perfect.
I'm want to work as quick and carefully as possible, I hopeing to give it to a friend if I get it on time

Oh, this will be fun to watch your progress now as well as Ceitidh's. It's such a beautiful design! I thought of doing it someday also, but am kind of put off by having to use 6 strands of floss on 16 ct. aida.

Thats what stopped me from doing it. I'm a newbie at cross stitching. The 6 threads, combined threads and overlays?!?!?! Plus the chart confused the fizzy out of me! Thats why I mailed Ceitidh for advice.
But I'm doing it for a friend so I'm hopeing that will keep me motivated(?)

That will really be a big help to have Ceitidh's advice. I thought if I did it , would it be all that bad to maybe just use 4 strands instead of the six it calls for. I don't know

Lovely design! But 6 stramds?! Though over 16ct it probably is fine. I shall watch with interest.

I've only just started and I've messed it up!
I've done the sky in full stitch, but It's only to be half stitch
I have to pick it allllllll out now

Oh noooooooo!! I hate it when I do that. It's so frustrating! Hopefully you didn't do too big of an area to have to unpick.
