Hallo Angela -- wat spreek je veel talen, en nog Nederlands ook! Welcome/welkom/bienvue/benvenuto (or should that be benvenuta? not sure if it adapts to the welcomed person's gender!) to the forum!

Hi Angela! Welcome to the forum

My father's parents were from Italy, so I'm half Italian. I don't speak the language though. Looking forward to seeing your projects.

Angela, my grandparents were from Bari and Sicily. My gandma died when I was seven years old, but I remember her speaking in broken English intermixed with Italian.

Hi Angela! I live in Wisconsin in the United States. I've lived in the same city my whole life. My father was born and raised here also. As a matter of fact my father and I had the same kindergarten teacher. He had her when she was fresh out of college and I did when she was ready to retire

Hi Angela, in spite of my forum name I'm as Dutch as cheese and clogs

-- I'm in England because I married an Englishman. We tend to learn Dutch, English, German and French at school, and I took Spanish and Italian courses later. Not much has stuck though as I don't get to use them enough!
