Ok, so after seeing all of you talking about HAED...of course I had to go and buy my first pattern. I started it today. I worked on it most of the day and feel like I haven't gotten anything done on it. BUT, it's ok cause it's gonna be awesome when I get done with it. Will post some pics as I go along.

Congratulations on starting your first HAED. Those charts are absolutely gorgeous, but they do take a lot of effort and time. So try to see every stitch as a step towards being finished and be proud of yourself for doing it. ( I have about 20 of their charts and so far haven't had the guts to actually start one LOL)

Oh I can't wait to see which one you have chosen. I have two HAED charts at the moment but plan on getting a lot more. They are hard work but soooo worth it. Enjoy your HAED and take your time with it.

That's awesome! I'm still working on organizing my floss and preparing the fabric for the two HAEDs I have lined up. Please do post pictures as you go along. Which HAED is it that you are attempting?

Sorry, ladies! I didn't even realize that I forgot to put which chart I got.. It's the Dragonfly. I'll post some pics when I get back to the hotel tonight. I've been working in Tampa for the last month and have another month to go....I'm sooo ready to go home... The good news about these two months, is that I don't know a soul here so I've been doing lots of stitching

I can't wait to see your progress. I am working on a HAED too and I totally know what you mean about feeling like you haven't got much done. They do take a lot more time and effort but are worth it

I saw it ages ago and bought it last year. I was going to start it straightaway but then I fell for the Storykeeper so it got put back. I've almost finished the Storykeeper but I have done a few stitches on the Dragonflies. I will post pictures..... one day

The Dragonflies chart is very pretty - looking forward to watching the progress on it!

Oh, how lovely this is! I can't wait to see you start stitching, make sure you let us see lots of photos. It's got some gorgeous colours in it, I bet it will be a pleasure to stitch.
