HAED QS Rose Dreaming UPDATED 29/04

I'm just about to start stitching on my first HAED. It's a quickstitch so I'm not expecting it to take too long.
It's 89 colours, a LOT of pink (strange choice of design for someone who isn't to crazy about pink, but what the hey).
I'm stitching it on 25 count white lugana, and have so far decided I LOVE evenweave!
I'm going to do the background in tent stitches, 2 over one, and the rest will be full crosses, 1 over 1.
Should have a picture update by the end of the week

I always think "quick stitch" is a deceptive term when applied to a HAED...
It'll be interesting to see the combination of tent stitch and full cross stitch, it should add extra texture to it and contrast between background and figure. One tiny worry though, will it be possible to tell exactly which stitch is background and which is figure? With the shading and umpteen colours HAEDs often use it may not always be plain to see.

I've coloured the whole thing in and it's quite easy to see where the face and hair starts so hopefully shouldn't be a problem

I had hoped that I'd have more to show you in my first picture, but fate (and stupidity) decided other wise. I've just finished frogging a whole section because I got two symbols mixed up and so used the wrong colour, stupid stupid stupid!
You can sort of see in the pic where it's been frogged as once I frogged I could not be bothered to remove the fibers , will have to wait till tomorrow.
So enough about my uselessness, here is my first pic.
Also wanted to say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE working on evenweave!
