Does anyone have a copy of the flower fairies giant chart which came free in britians no 1 cross sticher magazine which i think came in june 2005 issue.I have a part of it missing. thanks

I will check on that Jayne, I used to have it. From memory it is a double page spread??

I have a FF "Giant Chart" which was a freebie in the Cross Stitcher. When unfolded it is in 4 parts - which part are you missing? I can either get the missing part photocopied for you or send you the whole thing.

Please PM me with what you want me to do plus the address to send it to.

Do to copyright considerations you can not make a photocopy of the chart. You can send the entire chart and then have it returned once the stitching is done. I know this seems a silly thing but if the word got out that members were offering to make photocopies our site could end up being shut down.

Thanks Rose, I was wondering about that, even as I typed it. I did however wonder if copyright applied when it was a "free chart" loose in the magazine?

Well that is one of the grey areas of copyright. Yes it was a free chart but only if you bought the mag. So the designer gave permission to the magazine to distribute the chart but that does not mean they release the copyright to anyone else. Unless you can find a written release on the pattern then the designer still retains copyright.

Hi Jayne, thats fine I will send you the chart and there is no need to return it. I have had a good look at it and it doesn't have any of the flowers I love so would be recycling it anyway.

Let me have your address and I will happily pop it into the post for you.

I need to downsize everything within the next 10 months due to moving into my DD and SIL home - so all sorts of things are being handed out.

Just a word of advice, for safety reasons, please edit your last posting and remove your address. When you need to exchange personal details like this, you should send a pm (private message) to the person that needs it, never post these details for all to see.

Most people on here are trustworthy, but you don't know who could be lurking behind the scenes.
