Re: things that stop you stitching
What a beautiful cat. Looks just like mine, all black with very short thick fur. Jet has yellow eyes though as in my avatar. He's the one who stops me stitching.
This is a lovely picture you took of your cat. He definitely wanted you to notice him didn't he

Re: Lighting a candle
Point taken. I've not been into Stash & Grab yet. Didn't realise it was like old fashioned pub. I'll come sometimes & have a glass or two of sloe gin if they have it, but as it is virtual guess you can get what you want. Are they calorie free as it is virtual & not actual, same as nibble...

Re: Lighting a candle
Looks like your right Mabel!! I suppose 100 people killed/murdered/massacred at once must be the norm now, esp if you do not know any of them. It is just I was brought up to care for all- whether I knew them or not, But in future I'll have to keep my thoughts to myself, just make comments about craf...

Re: Serinde - 5 yr old in mountain rescue
The family were located quicker by a smartphone app developed by one of the mountain rescue team 6 years ago. When coastguards are contacted now they message back to download the app, that way people are found quicker I got more info on this rescue from BBC NW wales web page. Thank goodness the fami...

Serinde - 5 yr old in mountain rescue
A couple with a 5 yr old boy were rescued from one of the Snowdonian mountains. They were poorly equipped, in freezing conditions & in darkness by the time they were found by the Ogwen Valley Rescue team. Rescue services alerted 17.30 pm yesterday, family had to be airlifted off, they were almos...

Lighting a candle
I am lighting a candle for those in Kabul & other places where there have been atrocities. So awful, not gone one month in a new year without mass killings. How terrible for those witnessing such carnage.

Re: I am Back Home!!
OMG still lots to do but as the song goes 'at the end of a storm there's golden dawn' so keep your mind fixed on The End & the golden dawn to come. So many nooks & crannies & boxes to search through but hope you find the title deeds & jewellery soon for your own peace of mind & f...

Re: Periwinkle Cottage on 26/01
Thank you Mabel. I'm going to have a rest from this as I am bogged down with all the greens at the moment. Can put it aside for a few weeks & come back to it. Have been on it a month so when I get another kit ready will spend 4 weeks on that & do them turn about.
