I don't know which I'm more jealous of -- the awesome work or the awesome camera that takes such great macro photos!

Thank you :-). I was rather surprised by all the things that weren't there, like Isobel's nameplate and the little footstool, I must have set up separate threads for those.

Barb, I wrote a description of the method for myself and uploaded it to my site some time ago, can't remember the exact link but will look it up when I'm at my own computer!

I am sure you know this since you write all the webspages and stuff but my step brother told me that you can save these threads on you computer..and then be able to look at your progress later. also i have thought about opening a blog just for this type of stuff so that i can then use a blog book site i found that converts your stuff to pdf format...and then you can save it that way. Please ignore if you know about this and its like the newbie teaching the expert :)

Ehi, thanks a lot for the idea of the Salamander bookmark!
I've been pondering around this lovely Cross stitcher chart for about 1 year but never started because I didn't know what to do with it, now you've given me the best inspiration possible. I'm looking forward to starting it as soon as I can!

Congratulations on your other works, as well!

An in-between little project, a hardanger butterfly from the Anchor hardanger book (I only added a bit of a tail to him). It's stitched on 25ct evenweave, using Caron Wildflowers and Watercolours in shade 126 (Faded Linen)

Wow, this is amazing! I've never tried hardanger, it looks so fabulous that it scares me...

Silvia, it;a easier than it looks, honestly, and quite quick too. The most annoying bit I find is poking all the cut ends in :ratherbe: because if I don't they keep bugging me, even though I sometimes see them in official pictures in magazines so I assume everyone suffers from them :-)

Mabel all your work is beautiful. I realised that I had seen your photograph in Cross Stitcher Magazine. I admired your bag then too.
