Yes that was Mischief laying on my work - as per usual.

In fact he came in just now and I rubbed his head etc for a minute then came back to the forum so he sat with his back to me for maybe 1 min then walked off downstairs. Guess I'm in the dog box - or should that be cat box - again.

This my current WIP a resting project when My House gets too much to do.
Yes its a Christmasy one, very quick and easy to do plenty of floss and lovely fabric to work with as well. It is another Imaginating, Inc kit on 14 cnt. I may do it again only make the bird's back red and use Red for the 3 main words.

The bird is looking lovely. Would be very pretty in red also. Its good to have a less complicated project to go to. I'm hoping to be able to get some smaller ones done this year also.

Finished the sampler - as far as I am going to for now

Image

There are french knots to go across the top border but I just might do beads - need to think about it. All the cross stitch, wording/back stitching is done.

It has taken less than a month and I still have enough threads left to do another one - if and when I feel like it.

This will be my next start in a day or so - need to do the wording on my Koala one first.

Image

I will start Afternoon Nap a Bucilla mini kit until the fabric and threads for Joan Elliotts Lady Rose arrive then it will go away again. This fellow looks just like Mischief the resident cat here so I just had to have, even though its full of confetti.

Just catching up with this thread. Mischief is very cute and I agree that Afternoons Nap looks like him. Well done with the sampler and I like the koalas too. I also envy your stitching spot very much.
