I'm a curiouse person by nature (read: NOSEY) & I dug into that company a little bit. It's somewhere in Georgia (U.S. state) and they have a fledgling facebook page (all of 27 likes when I looked at it over the weekend).

I get the feeling that "Anderson" may be an ignorant employee who THINKS they're doing the company some good with free advertising. (Either that OR they're an ignorant business manager/owner thinking that cross stitchers are interested in embroidery???)

I have sent them a PM and told them to stop posting on this site. They seem to be a bit thick so not sure that is going to get their attention but it is a start.

As for approving members we don't do that, it is open membership so all you have to do is complete the opening questions and you are allowed to post. The time may come when persons are approved but so far that is not how we are set-up. It is a shame that one annoying person could make it harder for others to come and enjoy our site.

You could try e-mailing them ... again, and again, and again, and ... well, you get the picture. Maybe then they'll realize that people don't like being spammed and that no one on this site will be using they're services at all.

Well... some of us are but you're right. Spamming a forum at all, let alone one dedicated to another topic is a wonderful way to turn people off of your company. Now I almost wish I had seen the posts so that I may know what company to avoid when I pick up my embroidery again.

Lynn, the company does machine embroindery on a large scale...so no, I don't think it would apply to anyone who hand embroiders or cross stitches.
