OT~Exciting news

I went to the doctors yesterday because I was feeling under the weather and wanted to know what was going on. I was hoping that I hadn't caught the flu (I know people still getting the flu even though its summer). Well I don't have the flu, or any other sickness. I just have a baby growing inside there somewhere. Baby will be here around Jan 28, 2013, and I am about six weeks so far. Next week I have an ultrasound appointment and will be given a better due date.. I'm excited and nervous..

Wow that is the very same way I found out I was preganant, 25 years ago. The difference was, back then you only got an ultrasound if there was a problem with the birth.

Congratulations! I was so excited when I found I was pregnant with my first daughter, but of course sonograms were not routine back then, and we didn't know she was a girl until she was born. The next year should be wonderous for you. Theresa

Thanks everyone! Yes first baby, and I can't wait to find out what I'm having. I'm already thinking of all the stitchy things I can stitch, and when the baby will be old enough for me to teach to stitch (I know it'll be a couple of years and I've got to go through the steps first) but I'm still excited.
