I lost it!!!!

Post by rcj176 »

I have looked everywhere for it. Part of it is sitting behind my chair in a few organizing totes. The other part has been lost for awhile now. Life has become so intense lately with homeschooling all 4 kids and taking care of my diabetes and 3 of the children's diabetes too!!! Agh! So if a fairy drops by your stitching chair will you please whisper back to him/her and ask it to bring my stitching mojo back to me because I can't find it anywhere right now!! :ratherbe:

We can put out an APB for your stitching bug and see if we can find him. It sounds so busy at your house that he might have left for some r & r  The fact that you are looking for him, I think means he will be back soon. :x:

Wow, you've taken on a lot recently, especially adding home schooling to your plate. Will definitely pack your stitchy bug back off to you if it appears round here.

Oh Oh, I have a sneaking suspicion that I know where he's gone. Well, not exactly where but why.....mine disappeared and I've been unable to find any sign of her. Maybe they got tired of waiting for us to catch up and went out to play somewhere together....or to make more little stitchy bugs. Mine always comes back sooner or later, I just have to be patient. Bribery doesn't work either.

Hope yours comes back safe and sound quickly.

I think these stitchy bugs must have some sort of resort that they all go to and laugh at us without them. They're probably sitting around, laughing going "he/she thinks I'll be back "soon"!". It seems that when one of ours disappear, there seems to be a couple others that lost theirs too. Must be a good place though.

In a way I cannot lose my will to stitch I am now working for a charity as a volunteer cx'ng at home. The pleasure I know people get from my work keeps me going as does the forums that help keep my mojo up.

Well, you guys turned my fairy into a "him" and "he" then turned into a bug!! LOL! I think "he" is staying far far away where it is 70 degrees right now. Tomorrow the forecast is for 108 degrees! And as someone said on my fb...it will be hotter here than in Kandahar!
It took 45 minutes for my van's air conditioning (while driving) to cool us off this afternoon. We had a pool party this afternoon and then a speaking engagement to go to that was almost 2 hours away...people like us and like to hear what we have to say since we are the odd people with 4 of us having Type 1 diabetes under one roof. So I let my husband stand up and do all the speaking. HA!

Right now would be a good time for "him" to come back because I really don't want to go outside anytime soon!! I'd rather be in my chair and stitching!

Sorry about the unintentional gender and species change :-)

We're so used to stitching bugs here that we're obviously not very open to stitching fairies -- my apologies to you and her!

Sorry dear stitchy fairy. I automatically think of you as stitchy bugs and meant no offence. As for gender, I just didn't think before I opened my mouth so to speak. I just hope mine is having fun wherever she is.

I looked for them in the Stash & Grab and St Cross Stitchers, but no... I personally think the stitching bug and fairies and so on were all at Angel's wedding. :thinks: Perhaps they had a bit too much champagne... :toast:
