What a special remembrance you are making for your dd! It is absolutly gorgeous & I'm sure she will treasure it and the memories you are giving her.

Here's another update. This is the project I would turn to if I only had an hour or so to stitch since it is a relaxing pattern to work on. I've gotten a little more done on it over the last couple of months, but I really should be focusing on it soon since it wil be needed in May of next year. I know...should be plenty of time.

Sorry it's a little blurry. I'm trying to get all of the updates in before I have to leave for work.

Last year I too was also trying to meet a deadline for my son's first communion (a project from Vervaco of a boy praying). He loved it. Once I figure out how to post pictures, I will try to post it.

I did one for my son when he went through. I started it on 22 ct in plenty of time to finish it (especially since I wasn't working at the time), and ended up restarting it a month before I needed it since the count wasn't working with the pattern. I told him I was working on it after his first communion. I think he only got it two weeks late.

Well, DD did not get this for her First Communion in April. She knows I am working on it, but life just got in the way. Since the Siberian Tiger is done for SIL now, this one will be my focus when I actually find time to stitch. I did work on it a little bit before her First Communion and was making pretty good progress, but just not enough. Here's where I am with this one. I'm hoping to have it done by mid-year if my schedule works out.
