I agree. I think that your stitching is very neat. I :applesauce: :applesauce: think that up close doesn't work well with some pieces as they are meant to be seen from a distance. I'm so glad to see this one again. I tried to find it on the HAED website but couldn't. I think either this design or the artist may have been retired from their site. Looking forward to your next update!

I agree with Carole---HAED does have issues making the designs look sharp close up, but at a short distance, they look amazing!!! Beautiful update on this!!! The birds look awesome!!   :applesauce:

So cute. I haven't noticed that with my HAED. I just notice how, when I step back from stitching, the detail suddenly appears like magic. Close-up, just a lot of colours.

Thank you! :D But if you saw the stitching in RL, you'd know I wasn't very neat - truly! However, since you will never see it that closely, I'll accept the compliments!
It's that lack of definition that I find somewhat unacceptable. Teresa Wentzler patterns are much sharper. I agree she needs backstitching to truly add definition, but her designs are MEANT to be backstitched. HAED are designed not to have backstitching, so, imo, the need for sharp definition is greater. But I agree they are fine from a distance! BUT, there is so much damn confetti in the foggy areas - and there are a lot of 'em! - that it drives me nuts!!! :tantrum: :tantrum: :tantrum:
