The afghan is a work of art Sarah.....and how I wish you lived in the states. It's a rare combination to see another woman who rides a motorcycle and stitches! We are truly unique :D

We are a rare breed, aren't we? I have to say, I wish I lived in the States as well! I've been four times to three different parts and was never so sad to come home from anywhere! Loved all of the areas I went to and found the people to be fantastic. Ex-hubs and I were even looking at ways to move there, but unfortunately we split up :(

Thank you, everyone, for the lovely comments. I can't wait to see what my Mum thinks of it. I'll be giving it to her around lunchtime tomorrow :)

The afghan went to its new home on Friday. My Mum loved it and spent ages studying each design. She is spreading it on her bed so she can see it each time she goes in her room and taking it off at night so it won't get messed up :)
