Gorjuss

Hello!

After a long long time of enjoying this forum, this is my first post!

I have loved doing cross stitch on and off for years. My last few projects have been designs from the Gorjuss range...has anyone else done these?

I have completed "Great Heights" "I Gave You My Heart" and my next one will be "The Balloon"

They are absolutely beautiful designs!

I can understand why a Gorjuss project would get anyone to break their silence and post. They are fantastic designs. Any chance that you will post a picture of your project? I haven't stitched any of these but love watching the progress of those who do. There have been quite a few threads showing Gorjuss projects. This one Niki's Quickies by Niki(fizzbw) is the most recent. If you do a search on Gorjuss you will find many more.

Here are my projects....this is the first one I did for my daughter who loves to read, it's framed in her room....

This is one I'm working on but not quite finished for my other daughter....

...and when I finish that, I'm doing this for my best friends new baby girl...

I hope this picture thing works!

Brilliant! They look fantastic. I've done the one with the foxes, but neither of the other two though the one with the books I have.

Do you like the speciality threads used and the lace/sequins/ribbon/buttons that they use as well? Takes it up a level IMO.

Thank you all for you lovely compliments. I love these designs. The balloon one is new, only vAme out this year.

Niki, I like the sparkly threads, although they are tricky to work with, it's only a tiny part and the send result is really special,. I love how each design has a different little accent, like a tiny button, ribbon or feathers.
