Can't believe it has been this long since I updated this
Page 7 is finished and there are just 2 3/4 pages left to finish. Feline supervision remains lax but I have stuck with it till the page was done!

I am especially delighted with how the beginnings of the pearl strand are looking. Once again, as I was stitching them I kept thinking, never going to look like pearls and they do! I'm not sure why details like that are so much easier to first see in the photo but then when I look at the piece not up close but at arm's length it looks the same.

I love this project and not too much to go so I think Christmas will be a reality for the finish. As for your supervisor she obviously feels she can trust you to keep on stitching without constantly looking up from your lap!

Great to see this one again and definitely it's moved along well. I always find it funny how our animals seem to sleep on the hard floor, door frame, etc. instead of the soft bed.

I've just finished reading this entire thread. What a gorgeous design and so beautifully worked. Your supervisor is lovely too.

Looking forward tot her next update and to seeing the finished article at Christmas.

I've not bought any HAED patterns yet but I think that day is getting nearer all the time.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Laverne appreciates your understanding too. Did want to say if this is going to be a Christmas present, it will have to be next year's since I am working on a few other of my projects before I get back to it. Might be done by May and become a birthday present though.

This is really coming along nicely - I love it! And Christmas or birthday, it's going to be a great gift. The nice thing about birthdays and Christmas - they come around ever year so technically the gift is never late! Yep, that's what I think.

Another page finished and I am so close to a finish on this one that I'm sticking with it. The last page is about 2/3 of a page and not nearly as much confetti as some of the others. As usual, I am once again awestruck by the fact that it actually looks like it says. Some of the details which didn't look like anything while stitching them, really do look like jewels.

I have been having some problems with my camera and have been using my mini-iPad to take pictures which is good for the projects but not great for getting feline photos. And I don't have a lot of storage on my phone and those aren't the best photos anyway. So though she is still the final supervisor of all things stitched, not many pictures right now.

What a lovely design, made me chuckle when I saw the one yellow peeping out! Nicely worked, such pretty colours, the contrast between the background & the cat make the a very different picture. Look forward to seeing it finished, well done
