Garnet's 2017 finishes Pic Heavy

Post by Garnet »

I never stitck to any one particular style, just what I like to stitch or need to stitch for others.

I was lucky enough to be given a set of hardbacks of the complete works of Jane Austen for my birthday along with this
Image

Then I just had to stitch this Celtic Wheel of the Year
Image

I just had to stitch Sir Henry Snufflington aka Awakening
Image

Followed by a Rose from World of Cross Stitching that I just had to stitch again in DMC and in a different colour
Image

Say hello to Sir Simon Chitterton aka The Nutcracker
Image

Then I was craving colour so stitched this beauty by Lesley Teare
Image

I stitched Christmas Cards inbetween but don't have decent photos and then on to Anchor's British Wildlife which I finished on 24th January but didn't want to add it to the stitchalong

I hope it's okay to have posted these here

Not only is it okay to post them, but it is great that you did. Beautiful work. I love the Jane Austen piece and of course the Wrendales. Celtic Wheel is beautiful. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Wow, what beautiful stitching. I am in awe!
The Jane Austin especially must have been tricky, with all the different faces and expressions and all the backstitch. All stunning projects but my absolute favourite is Sir Simon Chitterton :D

I do love the hedgehog & squirrel.

All look beautifully stitched, though.

PS forgot to say the Jane Austen one is great, so different to anything I've seen before :applesauce:
