All your work is lovely.

And you know the cute pan lid handle will end up just as loved-looking as the old one, eventually.

The main piece of stitching continues to be my dragon:

Image

Most of the stitching involves the metallic thread which is slowing it down. I keep looking at the remaining threads and thinking I have lots more to go:

Image

I will end up with lots of nearly complete skeins spare which I can move over to one of my other TW pieces :) TW does seem to have favourite colours so I should have a good start for my Season Faeries... Hiding just off that photo is a bag with another 2 new colours of metallic threads and all of the beads - 5  boxes of the really small Mill hill seed beads. .

Work in my conservatory has been slow. I wanted to get on with the Vincent Motorcycle:

Image

But I am still waiting for the supply of the last two skeins colours. Of course they are needed for the bits I wanted to do next so I was forced to go down the exhaust pipe and still hope I did not miss count - I find it much easier to move out building on a block. Work on this piece is being hindered as my friend, who this is for, likes to phone me up each evening for a chat and that makes me loose my concentration which is so necessary on this fiddle piece.

Having lost my concentration I often move over to working on the Lilly to go with my Geishas:

Its an easy stitch while watching/listening to the TV and there really is very little of this still to go so I must get on and finish it.

What colours are you waiting for? If I have them, you are welcome to them. :P

Thank you Serinde, they are re-ordered and due over the next couple of days. I got my money back on the original orders which the Post Office claims did not have sufficient postage. I told the postie that at £2.50 surcharge on each of them his boss can keep them to use on his own embroidery

I always thought it was sharp practice making the recipient pay for insufficient postage... :ribbit: But since you're sure, that's fine.

I have my own way of getting my revenge on Royal Snail when they try this game: This morning I took the two surcharge cards down to the post box each with 4 "reused" (unfranked) 2nd class stamps on them. Hopefully I will receive the missing threads tomorrow.

This morning I have received all 5 of the threads I ordered in a single order with a standard 2nd class stamp on them so can continue with the piece as I now have the full set of colours :tizzy:

It was raining yesterday so I managed to get a fair bit done on the motorcycle:

All your projects are looking wonderful Jo. Some complicated stitches in the motorcycle one it looks like but you're fairly getting on with it! :applesauce:

It was a lovely evening last night while I sat doing the motorcycle:

Image

I am really struggling at the moment because all the time as all three of my pieces I am working on are nearly finished and a couple more days will see each done, so the stitchy bug is really strong. But I have chores to do

It's looking fantastic Jo! Maybe give yourself a day, or maybe not even a day just a few hours, to catch up on chores before you start anything else. Is Fall Fairy next on the list? xxx

Your stitchy bug has been very busy indeed! Motorcycle is speeding along (I was going to say to be careful about getting a speeding ticket, but decided that was too obvious to be funny) The cycle is looking great and I know your friend will be delighted with it.
I have a t-shirt my sister gave me years ago that says :Pro-cross-tinate(verb): To cross stitch when you could be doing housework. Something I think we all suffer from periodically.

I managed to put in a couple more threads on my Celestial Dragon:

I am beginning to feel like I could finish this one. :)
