My apologies

Post by agi »

Dear friends,

I want to apoligise for my erratic posts here lately. I come and look at the forum more than once daily, but I am not always up to posting an answer...
I haven't been feeling really well lately, and now, with the new medicine I got I am all shaky, dizzy and whatnot :)

So please, don't take offence if I don't always post a well done /welcome / congratulations answer - but know that I am still with you :) Just feel zombiish atm. :D

And thanks for all the support I have received from you all.
Agi

You don't have to apologise for anything, Agi, and don't try and keep up with everything here, there is such a lot happening and I too find it difficult and don't very often post.

Hope you soon feel better.

No need to apologize, we do what we can when we can and we all understand that health and life sometimes makes it hard to get on and do alot. We are just glad to hear from you when you are able.

Agi, Definitely no need to apologise. I also don't post every day but I usually have a look to see what's going.

Just get well soon. :)

Apologies are not necessary Agi and I am so sorry that life is difficult at the moment. Hope your body soon settles down to the new meds.

You have nothing to apologise for, Agi. You have so much on your plate, I'm amazed at your stamina... or is it pure, downright stubbornness? Whatever, you take care of yourself, and we will be pleased to see you whenever.

Now, that's an interestig question... :thinks: :thinks:   :shifty: :shifty: Not sure I want to know the answer.
Whichever it is, I hope it will pull me out of this pit, even if I have to pull myself at the hair like Munchausen did...

Thank you all for your kindness.

I read a story yesterday, let me share it with you - this is my motto for the present. (I read it in Hungarian, but found this English version on the net, not sure where it is from.)

"Once a donkey of a farmer fell in a well. The farmer decided that the donkey was old and didn’t waste his energy to pull it out, and the well had been dry, anyway. He invited neighbours to help him to fill the well. All together took up shovels and began to throw earth into the well.

The donkey realized that it would be buried and began to yell loudly. Then it calmed down unexpectedly. The farmer threw some shovel fulls of earth and looked down. He was amazed. With each piece of the soil falling on his back, the donkey did something improbable. He shook himself and stood over the dumped earth. While people continued to throw earth in the well, the donkey shook himself and stood on the top of the dropped soil. Very soon all were surprised to see the donkey climb out. It jumped over the edge of the well and dashed away like an arrow."

The only thing is, if I shake myself, I become dizzy  - but that will pass soon, I am sure.

I heard that story a few years ago, Agi, and believe me, it does still come to mind when things get overwhelming. It makes you feel determined to not give up hope that everything will turn out for the best. I hope your dizziness passes soon and you feel better!
