Nearly made a massive mistake!

Post by KerryT »

OMG I was stitching my Joan Elliot Earth fairy last night and after frogging one section for the 3rd time due to tiredness and miscounting. I decided to grid that bit with my air dissoluble pen to prevent making the same mistake for the 4th time.

You won't believe it but just as I was about to put pen to fabric I realised that I was actually about to use the CD marker that I use to mark my bobbins :roll: Shock horror time for bed I think !

OMG that would have been awful!!!!! I tend to keep an "easy" piece to stitch when I am tired or frustrated that doesn't matter if I screw up - or when I am emotionally charged for whatever reason - that is when mistakes happen!

So glad that you didn't mess it up so badly!!

THat would not have been a good thing at all. I am glad you caught the mix-up in time to prevent it. :doh:

I'm so relieved for you that you noticed in time.

LOL at your Tiddles cross stitch in your signature - I saw this for the first time last weekend and am going to do a few of them when I manage to track them down in time =}
