I'm back again

Post by freelady »

and eager to get back into stitching. I have been studying for a Open University degree for the past 2 1/2 years but due to ill health I've had to defer for a year. That gives me more stitchy time instead of using it for study time. :whoop: I'll miss study but enjoy the free time and picking up hobbies again. Life just gets better.

 Welcome back! I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been healthy and hope that the year off from studying will give you the rest that you need so you can finish your degree. Sounds like you have plans to stay busy in a different way! Looking forward to seeing what you will be stitching while getting well.

Welcome back! That's the great thing about the OU: flexibility. And stitching is very good for the health, as we all know. Win-win!

Welcome Back. Glad you will have more time to stitch, but hate it's because of illness. Hopefully nothing a little rest and stitching wont cure!

Thank you for the kind thoughts and words. I'm hoping the health will keep improving, albeit slowly. I am reading a hardback novel just for fun! It's been a while since I've done that. I intend to see if I can use my tablet pc as a chart instead of using a paper one, but will need to work on my tablet skills for that. Where there's a will ...as the saying goes.

It's great that you are back to stitching again. I think stitching should be available on the NHS, it is so beneficial to health
Hope your health improves.
