Garnet's works-in-progress update 30.8.18

Post by Garnet »

After completing Anchor's British Wildlife/Seasons (hopefully posted in general) I decided to stitch Anchor's Birds and Seasons, this is my progress so far
Image

However I got distracted by Blissful Mr. Fox aka Poppy Field and this is where I am so far

Image

Actually I have stitched a bit more than this but don't have a photo yet

I hope you like them

:applesauce: :applesauce: I like both of them. I always love birds and those are beautiful. Mr. Fox is great and like I said in my "welcome back"
post Wrendale designs never fail to bring a smile to my face!

Thank you so much! it means a lot

Mabel I had to rename him Blissful Mr. Fox because he looks blissed out, Poppy Field just doesn't describe him, so yes I agree his expression is great, he has more fur under his chin now but the light is simply too bad at the moment to take a photo with the snow coming sideways!

All of the Wrendales make me smile too whether I'm stitching them or not.

I forgot to add the Art Nouveau bookmarks earlier, I changed the colour of the Iris flower, in Gold they were stitched on 28 count evenweave, but as I had some 3 inch aida band I stitched them on that, and I didn't have a purple tassel the the purple flower bookmark so I made one out of the DMC I used in the design - is that wasteful?
