Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOCELLOGIRL!
I really am bad. I hardly come onto the forum these days, I guess work is getting in the way. I can't believe you all took the trouble to wish me happy birthday, and I wasn't even on here to thank you.
Well, I'm here now and I thank you all wholeheartedly for your birthday wishes. We had a lovely day. I booked the day off work (I never work on my birthday, especially my 50th!!) and as it was during the Easter holidays, hubby, the girls and I went to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. We'd driven past loads of times but had never actually paid a visit. It is a very poignant and thought provoking place, but beautiful with all the plants and trees (even in the damp, foggy weather that day). We had a spot of lunch and then dropped the girls off with my sister, as they had dance rehearsals that evening. Hubby and I went for a lovely Thai meal and then went to watch my beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Derby County.
All in all it was a lovely day and thank you for your messages. Here's to the next 50 years and whatever they may bring
