realou after having a good look at your Sampler I wouldn't sack the whole thing I would just take out the Alphabets and then look the pattern over very carefully and skip the ones that have missed letters but still leave that space open. Once you have all the correct Alphabets done then go back to the open sections and add your own designs. Does that make any sence? That way you would still have your sampler but also a very original design. Just something to think on and you work is wonderful :P

Thanks Rose,That's what I was thinking as well, only I'm going to make an I for the alphabet already in,and then check it over.Before I start any more alphabets.So for now it in my UFO pile.

Creating the I from the J should pose no problems. It seems to me all you have to do is delete the little squiggly bits on the lefthand side which form part of the main bar and add a 'foot' like the M and N.
I had a look at my Venetian alphabet, and that is what the designer has done.
