I use those nice shoe boxes from Michaels for specialty floss..I guess I am weird but I have little boxes from the dollar store for each of my big projects and keep them in plastic bags inside the big totes..I use an old filing cabinet for my patterns and try to keep the same designers together.I ...

I have also heard of people using nail clippers to cut with on airplanes..I havent used this method but it sounds possible.

Love these for travelling and I think they would be great if you have little ones as well...I only use for travelling as I was one of the unfortuneate ones who had my scissors confiscated at the airport...my own fault...I didnt realize it was in the bottom of my bag of cross stitch.

LOVE the colours...crinkly just means you spent a lot of time on it as we all do...I dont think any of mine didnt look crinkly before finishing them up...beautiful work...keep on...it is a wonderful start.
