Ok, when I read this topic, I thought of actually stitching out our resolutions on cloth! Think of all the hours of work, and it would sink in your head. Frame it and put it somewhere to keep it fresh on your mind! I may have to actually do this...a good way to use some 'not so favorite' fabric or ...

SO pretty! Of course what makes it feel so good wearing it is all the love that went into every stitch!

I'm 95% DMC simply because there is always such a great selection at my local stores, and I've also never had any problems with colors running...but both are quite easy to work with IMHO.

Thanks so much for the great ideas! I've heard great things about the red & blue kool-aids, and i'll have to try along with the beet juice!

I actually stitch around the edges of the fabric like this:

It works like a charm! It takes 5-10 minutes depending on how big your fabric is, but it's so worth it.
