I have been eyeing a Cricut for ages and decided to look on ebay, and got a last minute auction (It had 5 seconds left) and won! Normally, the model I got goes for 179.99 for a new one. I got a new one for 78 dollars. I'm over the moon!! My sister hadnt got my christmas gift yet so I told her I wanted some cartridges for it.
Well if you ever get a spare 60-75 dollars, that ebay seller has those cricuts up there ALL the time, they're a power seller for sure. From looking at the history, they average 60-80 dollars. I think they had like a dozen up there last time I checked and when they sold mine, they relisted another one.
Great deal on the cricut. If I did more scrapping I would definetly buy one they are great. I stop and look at all the new stuff they can do everytime I am in Michael's.
The room looks great. My room is currently in a mess all of the Christmas packing happened in there and the tax papers for the business are currently scattered all over the place. As soon as the holidays are over Hubby and I have to deal with Taxes
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror

Its a machine that will cut shapes and letters depending on the cartridge you have in the machine. Each cartridge has a bunch of letters or shapes depending on what you get. Its used for scrapbooking.
That is a good buy, no wonder you are pleased. I had not heard of a cricut before, it looks and sounds a great piece of equipment. I do like your craft room
The craft room is great, and thanks for the explanation about the Cricut, I didn't know what it did -- can you buy all sorts of cartridges for it to make different shapes?
Good luck with the Cricut. I have a Craft Robo, but I must admit it doesn't get used very often. I'm never sure what to do with it, but feel that there should be lots and lots of uses. I guess just finding the time to play with these things is the difficult bit. Do let us know how you get on with the Cricut machine.

Oh my goddness yes! They have dozens upon dozens of cartridges for shapes. Each cartridge has a few dozen images on it too. Some are text cartridges that have letters in a few fonts, and some are image cartridges.. really depends on what you get
Once I get it, I'll show you guys some sample things
Congrats! There's nothing like a great bargain when you're shopping.
I'd be interested to see some samples of what it does as well. Can it cut appartures in cards or is it just small decoration type holes?

Yep, I know there are circle, oval and square shapes in the cartridge I'm getting with the cricut, so you could just get a sheet of paper the size of the card, and just have it cut on the side you want the hole on. That's the great thing about a cricut, you do what you want with it, and if you cant, then there are programs you can use to make your own or alter pre-existing shapes.

It sounds great... could I perhaps drop in for a few hours and borrow it?
