Re: Q snap advice please for a frame novice

This week I've been writing a 3,000 word essay in the evenings after work - so I've managed about 1 hour!
I hope to have the essay finished by tomorrow evening so will try to catch up a bit over the weekend, maybe 2 hours on Sunday ...

Ooooh lucky you, I wanted to get tickets this year as I haven't been now for about 4 years!
By the time I got round to looking on the website for the ballot I had missed the closing date for applications

Re: Helen's SAL - Summer Flowers
Thanks for all the kind comments :)
Alinna, yes it's a Godward painting. I basically picked 6/7 designs that I thought I'd enjoy stitching - Mucha, Degas, Alma Tadema etc - and let my mum and dad choose 1.
If I can find the camera later I'll take a photo of the Waterhouse painting I finished for ...

Re: Computer Generated Patterns
Thanks all for your replies, there are some good ideas here.
Think it might be best to leave the ebay design for now, it seems like a bit of a risk based on some experiences.
We have had a look at the HAED website and there are some lovely designs on there... the only thing I am a bit confused ...

Computer Generated Patterns
Hi all
My other half is trying to get into cross stitch at the mo. He's done some smaller work and now wants to move onto something a little larger. So my question is - has anyone worked any computer generated patterns and were they any good?
The type of patterns he is looking at are like these ...
