Ugh, what a nasty attitude for her to have and a down right stupid way to do business! You are a prospective client! Its not like SHE has to date you, what the hell. So apparently she presumes to know what the entire male race finds attractive and interesting.
Whether its her cup of tea or not ...

Hello All! (again) Please help.
Hello fellow stitchers!
I first came around her 5 or 6 months ago when I was put on bedrest while pregnant with my first little one. As you can guess he's arrived and I haven't been able to pick up my stitching since! But I am really itching to get back into it! We had a bit of an unexpected sudden ...

I am glad to hear that both you and kitty are doing much better! :applesauce:
That really is atrocious what some people will do to animals. Do you know who did it? Did the vet agree that it looked like someone had stabbed her as opposed to a cat fight or something (though I have never seen a cat ...

Hmmmm.....
I want one!! I can see getting used to two handed stitching being an adjustment after doing it one handed for so long! Its hard for me to imagine the ease of two handed stitching!
And I have never seen a stand that looks so sturdy yet flexible and easy to use. My mom had one a long time ...

Pengwenn I LOVE the Heinzeit patterns. My mom happened upon them a couple of years ago and has been making them for everything she can think of! I have a "NURSE" on, a "GRADUATE" one from university graduation and a "WEDDING" one from when we got married. The charms are always so neat! Both the ...

I love it! Its a gorgeous design! I love samplers and I am a displaced Washingtonian! Hubby is in the military! I would love to make this for family, but I would be very tempted to keep it for myself!

Re: Darling Baby Pilot jacket
She usually does about one or two blankets a year for friends acquaintances and family that have new babies. And then she also makes a cross-stitch Christmas stocking for all of the new family babies. The baby arrivals have slowed down the past 2 years because my brother and I are the youngest of ...

Begining a Thread Stash- sorry!
I have to apologize for such a hopelessly novice questions but I have searched all over the forums and the rest of the internets and I am just getting more and more overwhelmed and confused! Plus you ladies (and a few gents) are so kind!

Re: Kit or No Kit....what is your preference
Since I am pretty new to cross-stitch I have only done kits. I don't think I could design my own at this time, and I liked that the kits had every thing I needed to complete the project. Since starting though I have changed colors and fabrics or made modifications from kits. I don't have much stash ...

Darling Baby Pilot jacket
I am not much of a knitter, I can cast on, knit, purl, cast off, that's about it. So basically I can make a scarf, lol.

I'm impatient too! But I must confess, this time its for some baby things I ordered  Actually one package is for the baby, some beautiful cotton muslin swaddling wraps for the baby since he's going to be a summer baby. I am so "pro-swaddle", at least swaddling them as long as they'll allow me ...

Okay, this is a really stupid question, but how do you use it? I just bought some, and I see the top of the thread heaven comes up a bit above the little box its in, so for now I assume just drag the thread through it, but what about when it gets lower, do you stick your fingers in the pot and then ...

Re: Will double-sided tape be strong enough?
I have some cross stitched magnets that my mother in law gave me, she didn't make them, so I don't know how they were made, but they are finished with a stitch around the edge with the intentional fraying, they had a felt backing but they were stiff as if there was a piece of heavy cardstock in ...

My hubby does the same thing with forums, it must be a "man" thing to do. They aren't chatters I guess! I always chat on my forums, and I try to make shorter posts because no one likes to read the lengthy ones, but mine ALWAYS end up lengthy! I just can't shut up!
