We have Kmart here, and at my closest shop, they got rid of all cross stitch last year, Now all you can get in crafts is scrapbooking or things for cardmaking too.
There are still a lot of people who cross stitch.

Hi everyone,
I agree with a lot of the other answers.
I prefer 14 aida and sometimes 18 aida, You can get it in many colours .
I have not used linen or material like it.

I have got a 6 inch and 8 inch Qsnap frames and I think they are gseat.
I also bought and eleven inch one and extra two sides which maked about 18 inches rectangle one but have not used it yet.
I did see some brackets for attaching it to a table or I saw them. floor stand but cannot remember where
