Re: Lighting Help
Carole, I had two main reasons for wanting it. I am prepping for a new start at the beginning of the year and it will be my first time stitching on either 25 or 28 count. Going to do the Prairie Schooler alphabet all together on one piece of fabric. Pretty good sized piece and for the size I want I ...

Lighting Help
Does anyone use a clip on light? I work with q-snaps and there are so many online to pick from but I am having a hard time to tell if they would clip well to the snap and how bright they are. Any links to what does work would help. I have even seen some that dim that caught my eye but some are quite ...

Re: Apps you use
I have an android and was looking at a floss checklist right before Christmas. You have to purchase it and when I checked for last update it was quite some time ago so I was hesitant thinking it may be outdated. I ended up using Google drive and just importing an old spreadsheet and updating it to ...
Re: Lugana
I ended up contacting 123stitch and they have some amazing customer services. The issue was different suppliers and different dyes used to color the fabric. All of the fabric is beautiful. I am working on a piece on 32ct but I cannot stitch on it with my glasses on I am near sighted (my eyes tend to ...
Lugana
I ordered myself a small pieces of both 25ct and 28 ct mushroom colored Lugana fabric to do some test stitching on and see if my eyes could tolerate the smaller counts for a project I have in mind. When I got to looking at the pieces the color difference between them is quite dramatic. One is a very ...

Re: Finally found one
I love these stands Rose. I have the original one with the adjustable base. Clamps for my q-snaps and a 13" scroll frame. It will hold clamped on both sides up to an 8" and 11" q-snap (6"is to small) and if I happen to want a bigger one I can attach the extra upright arm from the scroll frame to one ...

Re: Help me plan my trip!
Stitcher's station in Hillsboro Il is definitely worth a stop looks small from the outside but its 2 floors jam packed with goodies. The owner is very sweet and helpful too :-) I live a lot closer to her now but when I lived over by the river it was well worth the hour long drive just to visit. I ...

Re: Help with needles
This thread got me looking also as I have been having trouble with breaking too. I have used piecemaker needles with my quilting and can vouch that they are good my quilt needles do bend but with quilting to me that is preferred and I will reach for them over a new one every time. :) I don't think ...

Re: I tried this and it WORKS! YAY!!
That just blew my mind amazing! She has to be parking to the right to keep her threads straight. Seems she is starting her threads differently too I couldn't quite make out how though. Thanks for sharing I think it is amazing how we all have our own little ways of stitching even though we are all ...

Re: K's Creations
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will just have to keep looking. I'm afraid I don't have the budget or the room for a floor stand right now thats why I thought a lap stand would work better for me. I am also afraid the K's creation one I linked may not work for me either. I went to there site ...
