Keep at it Sarah, nearly done... although trying to stitch after having a drink or two at the party....? not something I've ever been able to do!!
I love the little faces of the lord a-leaping, milk maid etc, they seem to have given them really nice expressions even though they're only small

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! Not far to go now. I haven't had time to take a picture tonight, but I've got half of Day 12 done - in fact most of the crosses, just need to finish the gold thread and do the backstitch and one or two other little bits. And the two borders have all their holly done except for the green backstitch and the french knots. I'm hoping to be nearly finished if not completely finished tomorrow - and have a day spare!

Another quick update - Day 12 is finished except for the backstitch, so tonight all I have to do is complete that and then backstsitch the 2 sides of the border. Oh, and put in about 100 french knots :( I will finish it today if I have to stay up half the night!

This is such a great design, and you are really in a red hot stitching mood. Fingers crossed for all the French knots...

I will PM you my address because I think it will look far better on my wall than on yours and will save me an awful lot of work.

All done! YAY! I thought I'd never get the two bits of border finished - 77 french knots there were to do! Anyway, managed it just before midnight so still a full 24 hours to go before Christmas!

Here's Day 12.........

And here's the finished picture.
