Oo can we put whole channels? Any of the Discovery's but they've been a bit boring off late with all them war progs. I've found a new channel, Alibi, crime fiction, they've been showing my two fave's over the hols - Miss Marple and Dorothy L Sayers, yay 8)

I'm not a massive fan of US shows as a rule, but did have a MASSIVE soft spot for the X Files in its heyday.

And like Dazbo, am a closet Whovian who schlepped the entire family to Birmingham (2-hour drive each way) yesterday to see John Barrowman in Robin Hood just cos I love Torchwood so much ...

I'd also set the video for Spooks.

Oh my I love TV. All the CSI's. Almost any Sci Fi. Midsomer murders. EastEnders and Coronation Sreet. Amazing Race , Survivor. Big Brother( ).Project Runway (Catwalk). "The Food Channel" Holmes on Homes (I love Mike Holmes  )Bones, Fringe, 11th Hour. The list is endless, sad to say but I dont go to movies., ( hate sitting in the dark with no stitching and 2hrs I could have been stitching. And I dont like people all around me making noises.) Oh tv shows theres a few House Lost Heroes Buffy/Angel Ugly Betty Nip/Tuck. NOt a huge fan of soaps though I do occasionally watch Emmerdale. Also like Red Dwarf Dr Who and Mythbusters.

Was a fan of Big Brother but its gone downhill badly same with X Factor its more about the sob stories lately instead of the singing :(

My favourite series EVER though is Buffy and Angel. I'm still in mourning for that show, I can't express how clever and original this was. Absolutely genius!!!!

I've been buying the 'Charmed' boxsets (as Sammy recommended them) and on my fourth season and its okay, but not up to the standards of Buffy and SATC!!!

Im with you nothing beats Buffy and Angel. I have all buffy and i am going to get Charmed Soon as for Angel i will have to save up even more now to get them.
Don't worry be happy, you have your life, you are alive, you have family, friends who love you, and best of all you have me as a friend :)

Well maybe I won't try to make you too jealous by saying that we used to live on Lloyd George Avenue in Cardiff... and the outdoors scenes to the Torchwood "headquarters" were filmed at the end of our street. I've also got pics somewhere of filming taking place with the Tardis on the same site.

erm, I've also been told by my niece (but haven't seen yet) that John Barrowman has bought or rented a house in Barry as a local base during filming. A property that happens to be in the same street as her :thinks:

I'm really a BIG fan of CSI: Las Vegas and New York series (the Miami series don't thrill me as much :( ) ....and since I'm fond of watching horror/thriller stories I like watching Supernatural and Ghost Whisperer TV series, too. :)

I used to watch Stargate Atlantis up to it's season 2 but it's been cancelled from our local cable company... :(

Ohhhhh goody - can't wait! Love American Idol!! Asked for David Cooks album for chrimbo, but didn't get it! Booooo!!!! :( :(

Do you ever get to see our 'X Factor' over in the states or Aus? A brilliant girl won this year called Alexandra Burke, I predict she'll be as big as Leona Lewis. I hope so!!

I only seem to watch actual TV over Christmas! (this Christmas mainly quizzes like Celebrity Mastermind & the Krypton Factor lol), the rest of the time I'm watching dvds.
I'll go by what boxsets I have --- Most Haunted [although since the rumours that it's faked, I still watch it just for entertainment value], Fawlty Towers (not enough episodes but absolutely brilliant!!), Red Dwarf, Quantum Leap, Simpsons, American Dad, Columbo & Knight Rider :D Hubby is also in agreement with most of these too so it works well.
On my own I'm working my way through all the David Attenborough series :applesauce:

Just remembered, I'll be following the touring cars this year as well. Used to be a massive Formula one fan but am well disappointed in it now and stopped watching it.

I think F1 lost a lot of fans here when they had the tire issue at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2 (?) years ago and only a handful of drivers ran the race. The F1 group is interesting to have in town though! We're used to the crowd that mainly comes to party and drink for the Cart/IRL race (Indianapolis 500) and the good ol' boys for the Nascar race. Now, instead of the F1 race, they have a motorcycle one.

No we don't get the show X factor over here in the states but I have heard of it and I do like Leona Lewis a lot but haven't heard of the recent winner.

I forgot to mention that I love watching football too! Too bad my team was absolutely horrible this year and isn't in the playoffs but my boyfriend's team (ny giants) will still be around at least until next weekend so a little more to keep watching (and stitching while it's on). :D

I like Neighbours and usually watch EastEnders as well - drives poor OH mad as he had to put up with both with his Mum for years on end, then he moves in with me and thinks he'll get some relief, but no such luck, hahaha.

I watch Casualty and Holby as well and also Spooks (OH likes this!) and Strictly, Dancing on Ice and X Factor. That's about it really. I mostly prefer to watch movies and have a vast stack of DVDs.
