Looking good! Id say this is a nice pattern to do is it?

This is coming along really well. I know lots of the same-ish colours feel like you're getting nowhere fast, but it IS coming along!! It's looking great and what an amazing design you've chosen. I shall enjoy watching this one.

I know how you feel when you said that "it feels like I'm getting nowhere with it"...don't you worry...once you start with the reds and blues...you will feel differently!
...and you have made such great progress so far!

Have you thought of getting a frame, rather than using a ring? The ring is fine for small work, but for larger stuff I have a hand frame so I can just roll along to the next area, and the fabric doesn't get pulled out of shape much. And for very large stuff, I have a big floor frame (it was my mom's - she did a lot of tapestry). I want to get one of those chair frames as well...
I can't tell if this is on evenweave or aida?? I've done the Maia Rapunzel and that was aida (I am afraid of evenweave or linen or anything like that!!) but I didn't use a hoop or frame, just held it loose, as I think aida is sturdy enough to support itself, I don't think I could get used to a frame or a hoop now! Just my opinion obviously

We're all different! I find I pull fabric out of shape if I just hold it, unless very small project size, like a card.
A frame can take a bit getting used to, but it's well worth it for me. The only problem is shoulder and arm ache, which is the same whether I use a ring or a frame. Which is why I want a chair frame!
You have done sssoooooooooo much work it looks great. I love the contrast of the red.
I have always used a hoop except with very small project and then I discovered q-snaps and I fwell in love. I still use the hoops at times but for the majority of my work I use th Q's. They come in all different sizes. Here is a link to there site.
Hi
This is an amazing piece of work. It looks stunning and must be great for stitching. I know it sometimes feels slow but looks like you are really getting on with it.
I've never heard of parking before I joined this site and as I do a lot of big projects with confetti in I had wondered about giving it a go but do wonder whether as I have been doing the other way so long I might find it difficult so interested to hear that you didn't get on with it.
Keep up the excellent work. Going to look at their designs now!!

We all wish we could stitch quicker! (Well, apart from Sarah and Becca perhaps ) But this is great progress, and I'm glad you've found the stitching method that works for you.
