Aww, what a lovely pincushion, well done! It seems a shame to put it in a drawer and forget it though....... if you don't have a use for it yourself, perhaps you could make it a gift to someone?

I was thinking of NIL, she does knitting, but needs to sew bit together (right?? I'm not imagining it? But no-one else does anything else with needles  )

Sounds like a good idea -- as Rose says, it's too pretty to disappear! Perhaps at the same time you could pop in some dried lavender or whatever your favourite scent is (mine would be cloves and a cinnamon stick!) so you'll have a nice smell whenever you pop in your needle :-)?

It says they are viscose threads, so I'd expect them to be a bit like rayons, very springy and very shiny!
