It's no chore, Murmured. I've been so excited about working on my HAED that I was abandoning this project, so I thought if I devote one day a week to it, I will soon get it done. I loved spending Sunday stitching it - I'd forgotten how lovely the colours in it are to work with.

I'll try to remember to take pictures of my other two dragons later and post them on here.

Beautiful colours, and I am sure you love it since they are so different from the blues on your HEAD. Well done! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

As promised here are the pictures of my other two dragons. Unfortunately the pictures have come out a bit fuzzy, but you can get the idea.

This one I stitched about 15 years ago and my parents had it framed for me as a gift. Every stitch used blending filament along with the floss so it could be a bit of a pain to stitch, but purple and green are my favourite colours so I still enjoyed it.

This one I stitched for Christmas 2007 for a gift for Simon. He picked the chart and I stitched it and had it framed for him. I never liked it as much as the other one - on the photo of the chart it looked like it was blue and gold, but most of the colours are grey and brown and it came out really dark, but he loves it to bits and that's all that matters.

Wow, the dragons look great! :applesauce: Is the first one a TW? That much blended thread sounds tiresome, but the effect is definitely worth it!
I really like the second one, I have a thing for more oriental dragons, and this one has a gloomy dark look about it that suits perfectly (he looks a little scary )
Looking forward to the next update

I'm not sure who designed the first one actually, it was so long ago and I don't have the chart any more.

I have done TW's The Castle though - my parents have that and are using it under a sheet of glass as a table top cover.

You can see the effect of the blending filament in the purple-and-green dragon even in the photograph -- it must look even more stunning in real life!

Those are great, Sarah! I think the first one might be a Janlynn kit? I think I saw something similar on their website yesterday. Of course, it could just be my mind making things up again.

I think that second dragon's a bit scary actually!! The first one's fab though, and Mabel's quite right to suggest it must looking gorgeous in real life with all that sparkle running through each stitch.

Your Chinese dragon is coming along really well too.

Haha, the second one does look a bit scary and bad-tempered! The first one is indeed really sparkly in "the flesh" so to speak. Despite the annoyance of belnding filament getting tangled up and splitting at the time, I remember I really enjoyed stitching it. I shall update the Chinese dragon on Sunday again.

Those are really great designs. I don't really know about liking dragons but they make such a cool picture. Some are very colorful.
