Wonderful progress Agi, and as Wendy said, the nice thing about this SAL is that you all stitch along at your own pace!

Wendy, I'm glad there are other symmetry-nuts out there :-)

They've put up the next instalment early! It's a sort of companion piece to the top middle one; you can download it here.

Oh, goody! Another excuse to ignore everything on this truly filthy day (outside, that is) and stitch! :D :D

Caught up! Yeah! I have finished all the parts that have come out so far, and have almost completed all the border. There is just a little of the golden border left on the bottom right hand side which I plan to finish tonight. So I am all ready for the new installment coming out tomorrow!

I was hoping to do this earlier to have some time to work on other things but no such luck. Anyway... I am happy with what I have. :) When I am done with the new installment I am starting my new Ink Circle design!!!!!

No photograps, because we don't have the camera - it's actually not ours, but hubby's school's that he can sometimes bring home. I will post pictures when I can.

Wonderful Agi -- looking forward to pictures when you can manage! Have any of you sent pictures to the Ink Circles website? I think it would be great to see some Forum projects in their gallery!

And they were so early with the previous one! I'm really looking forward to starting this -- but it may not be the Eterna silk after all... I've just ordered some experimental colours of Pipers' flat silk, and they're in the UK which is convenient. I'll let you know how they turn out!

This is what it looks like right now: I have done all the parts, except the last one which I started but it isn't finished yet (bottom right corner)

Image

Here is a close up of the last installment. I have only stitched the blue, it is going to be filled in with colour, but I like it so much as it is, that I am thinking of stitching it as a separate piece, just the blues. Looks like lace.

One of the things that's so great about this peice is getting to see all the different patterns and I agree, the blue is lovely!

Wonderful progress Agi, you're really keeping up with the chart now! And I agree the blue alone looks ery decorative on its own.

I've been trying out different sets of colours in different types of silks -- not sur yet which would work best but it's fun finding out :-)!

Agi, you may have said this before but do you have any plans of what you are going to do with it -- is it going to hang in your stitching corner? And what about the other Ink Circle ladies?
