What I'm wondering about is how they could have completed them before the final part was up? It would be a bit disappointing if it turned out that some people had got the parts early. I know most new designs have some "model stitchers" to try them out, but this seems rather a large group for that. Any ideas?

Ah, that explains it. Well, fair enough, as it's her own stitch-along group :-)

I've just downloaded the last element! :D

Who will be the first to put up the completed design here, I wonder?? :thinks: :thinks:

Then what do we do with the finished piece?? :thinks: :thinks: :thinks:

I won't compete for being the first, I definitely can't start it until the weekend. I have other little things to do for Saturday.

I hope to have it framed - the first piece I will have framed professionally - but I don't know when I will have the money for it. But I am sure it is worth it. (I don't mean my stitching, but the pattern itself.)

I think your stitching deserve some special attention also the pattern is great but your stitching is what makes it come together. :applesauce:

Yes, it's your personal choices about fabric and colours that make it unique!

I decided to print the pages off to do later in life, but I can't get it to print any of the Carpet instalments, I can print off others from the site, just not this :(
Can someone else test it to see if it is a general error please.
Thank you x

Jilly, how are you trying to print them? Did you download them as PDF files? Some readers (like FoxitReader) don't print very well from those, but if you open them in Adobe Acrobat they should print all right.

Would you be interested in joining in a SAL for this one? I just got the silks from Carrie's Creation for it yesterday!

I will double check with Dave, It is confusing as the other designs on the site, and other PDF files have printed off no problems at all, it just seems to be the carpet.
I think it would be nice to do a SAL with you Mabel, it would take me a little while to decide on the colours, but I have always loved the design :D

I've finished the BoInk! I decided to frame it in a dark blue cotton fabric and have hung it onto a piece of bamboo pole with some yellow satin ribbon. The bottom is weighted with Victorian pennies. (anyone remember 'bun' pennies?)
I've added my initials and the date in the last element too. It looks a bit 'wobbly' as it was hung outside on the shutter clamp!

At least I've been able to hide the error I made in not centralising the pattern correctly. :D

I've enjoyed every stitch!!!

THANK YOU AGI & SERINDE FOR MAKING THIS SAL SO ENJOYABLE!

It's a great finish, and looks as though it was always meant to be framed like this -- what a wonderful project you have made of this!
